About

Greetings, I’m Jack Latimer. Since 2007 I’ve been a part of the RE/MAX team, offering my expertise to clients in Simcoe County and Muskoka as they buy and sell their properties.

Born and raised in Orillia I not only know the area but, truly love this region. I believe we all have a part in making our community a better place to live and I have enjoyed assisting many individuals, groups and organizations.

In 2012 I was surprised to be one of several residents in Orillia to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal recognizing the efforts of individuals in Canada who serve their community.  I originally tucked this away with a bit of embarrassment knowing how hard many others serve this community but,  I mention it here as I am dedicated to my buyers and sellers in the same way as I am dedicated to community service.

I spent over 45 years in radio before retiring from broadcasting.  During those years it provided me with the opportunity to not only meet thousands of people in the area but also to have assisted countless groups and organizations along the way.  In 2000 I was awarded the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Golden Ribbon Award for Outstanding Community Service by an Individual Broadcaster in Canada.

I am an advisory board member for The Lighthouse serving the homeless and vulnerable in our area at 75 Queen Street in Orillia.

Most Sunday mornings you will find me as part of the volunteer team at Connexus Church in Orillia striving to create an amazing environment for family worship.

Helping others in the community is what I’ve tried to do all my life and helping others with their real estate needs is part of what I love to do.

My goal is to serve sellers and buyers professionally and courteously which will have them saying to others “Get Jack!”

I look forward to working closely with you to accomplish your home buying or selling requirements.
